JasmineWS - Helping you build your first website
Have you wanted to learn how to make a website?
Wanted to start using GitHub but you were a little overwhelmed?
We have built a guide that walks you through building a website that is also an introduction to working with GitHub, including two HTML & CSS templates which are released under a MIT license. Its also free and you can follow along with just your browser and a free GitHub account.
We will show you how to work with github.dev web editor and GitHub Codespaces, which means there is nothing you need to install to get started.
Please feel free to explore Jasminews.uk for more information and our roadmap.
Working within the browser
Lots of things are now possible from within the web browser. The web browser inbuilt developer tools are so powerful once you find out what is possible. But on top of that there is a growing number of Cloud based development environments that offer a ready to code environment in a click of the mouse, that can be pre-configured with all tools, libraries and dependencies required for the project. The code can then be pushed to GitHub to start a testing or publishing workflow. Or maybe you need to setup a Cloud infrastructure to host a website or some business functions, again you can just open the web browser to get started. More on these topics very soon.
